Torsten Baumann

Torsten Baumann is a seasoned project manager at MECAL High-tech / Systems since December 2017, specializing in critical conditions management for high-tech products across various applications including semiconductor and medical technologies. Prior to this role, Torsten worked as an employeneur at TMC, where a balance of employment security and entrepreneurial freedom was maintained while exploring engineering opportunities in the Netherlands. From November 2008 to November 2017, Torsten contributed as a research associate at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), leading research projects related to solar thermal technologies and conducting Ph.D. research on heat exchangers in solar thermal power. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Stuttgart and a Master of Engineering degree from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences.
