Jonathan Louie Ong

Jonathan Louie Ong is an experienced public health data director currently overseeing data and data systems at Mecklenburg County since July 2018. Previously, as a senior health program manager, Jonathan developed the Public Health Informatics Program, focusing on analytics and COVID-19 response applications. Additionally, Jonathan has provided consultancy services in training and program management at Big Projects, Inc. since 2005. At SBH Health System, Jonathan held roles including director of healthcare analytics, where reports and business intelligence tools were developed, and assistant director, managing the IT/Healthcare Analytics Department. Earlier experience includes program management at the Consortium for Worker Education, with a focus on healthcare training programs. Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from De La Salle University.
