Simon Weidert has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Simon started their career at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München as an Attending Ortho Trauma and Spine, Research Group Leader, specializing in spinal disorders and collaborating with TU Munich's Chair for Computer Aided Surgery and Augmented Reality. In 2016, they co-founded M3i Industry-in-Clinic Platform, where they served as the Deputy CEO, helping the MedTech industry develop innovative products and providing usability evaluations. Simon also co-founded Mecuris GmbH, a company that offers digital tools for creating prosthetics and orthotics, and Medability GmbH, where they served as the Co-founder and Clinical Director. Additionally, they founded and served as the CEO of WBBG - Weidert Beratungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft UG. Simon worked as an Orthopedic Pain Specialist at Regionales Schmerzzentrum DGS München-Ost from 2020 to 2021. Lastly, they worked as a Healthcare Expert at Munich Innovation Group from 2011 to 2019.
Simon Weidert completed their education at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 2000 to 2007, where they obtained a Staatsexamen degree in Medizin. In September 2015, they also obtained a certification in English language proficiency from Duolingo, where they were recognized as an expert.
