Tom West

Tom West has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Tom is currently working as the Director of Machine Learning Engineering at Medable, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at Meta. Tom also has extensive experience at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where they held various roles including Senior Manager, Data Science, Lead Data Scientist, and Senior Data Scientist. At Sony, they were responsible for developing and delivering data science products, designing and optimizing customer-facing recommendation engines, managing project work, supporting global e-CRM teams, and conducting strategic analyses. Tom began their career at IBM as a Senior Consultant in Strategy and Analytics, where they developed complex models, conducted advanced analytics, and provided commercial support for government contracts. Tom also worked as a Strategy and Analytics Consultant and a Graduate Strategy and Analytics Consultant at IBM, where they worked on business case development and financial modeling projects.

Tom West attended Durham University from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics (MPhys).
