Patrick Nelis

Patrick Nelis has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Patrick began their career in 1985 as a Systems Analyst for Bank of New England / Connecticut Bank and Trust. In 1990, they moved to Penobscot Group, Inc as an Executive Admin, where they were responsible for securing various computerized sources of information for an Insurance Claims company investigations. In 1995, they were a Data Center Operator at Aetna Financial Services, where they were responsible for process monitoring, ensuring night processing of portfolio positions and accounting reconcilement programs and various informational feeds from a variety of industry sources. In 2001, they were a System Administrator at ING Nederland, where they were selected for transition to ING after ING buyout of Aetna Financial Services and wrote procedures for training Hartford LAN Center staff in ING/Aeltus process monitoring. In 2006, they were a Storage Administrator at Computer Science Corporation, where they were responsible for understanding business unit technology goals, implementations, coordinating work with other admin teams, and for level three technical trouble-shooting. Patrick was also one of only two installers responsible for installing field office SAN and NAS solutions across five sites in the US. Currently, Patrick is a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Medacist Solutions Group.

Patrick Nelis graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
