Shaheer Aslam Joiya

Shaheer Aslam Joiya is a dedicated medical professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Co-Founder at a stealth startup focused on health professionals since October 2022. As a Core Surgical Trainee specializing in Trauma and Orthopaedics with NHS Scotland since August 2021, Shaheer has completed rotations in prestigious institutions including Glasgow Royal Infirmary and QEUH. In addition, Shaheer is a Co-Founder of The 6pm Series, a UK-based collective providing free medical education, and is actively involved as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow. Other significant roles include membership on the IVMC committee and as Chair of the Surgery section, teaching faculty for the Orthopaedic Academy, and Founder of Accretia Research, which supports collaboration among medical students and junior doctors. Prior experience includes roles at NHS England and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, following the completion of a Doctor of Medicine degree at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași in 2019.
