Laurent Ellenreider

Head Manufacturing Engineering at Medartis Holding AG

Laurent Ellenreider began their work experience in 2012 as a Trainee / CAD-CAM Manufacturing at Straumann. In 2015, they joined Medartis as an NC swiss type lathe mechanic and later transitioned to the role of Project Manager Process Engineering in 2019. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Group Manager Automation at Medartis before assuming their current position as the Head of Manufacturing Engineering. Additionally, they worked as a Ski Instructor at Ecole Suisse de Ski from 2008 to 2015.

Laurent Ellenreider completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in the years 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Laurent attended the Centre professionnel du Nord vaudois from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a degree in Polymechanics, specializing in NC Lathe turning, NC Milling, CAD-CAM, and conventional turning/milling. Laurent also served in the Swiss army as a Soldier in 2012 and studied Philosophy/Economics at Gymnase Auguste Piccard from 2009 to 2012, earning a Matura degree. Laurent has also obtained various certifications in performance management, leadership, communication, team collaboration, and prioritization through LinkedIn.
