Tihana Ibrahimpasic

Tihana Ibrahimpasic MD, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of ENT/Otolaryngology and translational Oncology. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Physician in ENT-Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia until 2011. During this time, they also had a visiting resident physician role at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2007 as part of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) fellowship.

In 2011, Ibrahimpasic became a Research fellow MD at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in clinical research and translational Oncology. Tihana also pursued a PhD in this field and completed their PhD research at the University of Amsterdam from 2014 to 2018.

Following this, they joined Expert Physicians Medical Consulting in 2019 as a Medical Consultant, providing expertise in ENT/Otolaryngology and translational Oncology. Tihana continued working in this role until 2021 when they transitioned to their current position as a Medical Consultant at medcase.

Tihana Ibrahimpasic holds multiple degrees and certifications in various fields of study. Tihana obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Amsterdam. Tihana also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz and the School of Medicine University of Zagreb. Furthermore, they have acquired additional certifications, including a Board certification in ENT/Otolaryngology and General Medicine by The Ministry of Health, which is European Union certified. Tihana Ibrahimpasic has completed a residency in ENT/Otolaryngology and an internship in Medicine and Surgery at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia. Additionally, they have received certifications in Good Clinical Practice and Human Subjects Protection from the CITI Program and completed a Biostatistics course at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Tihana Ibrahimpasic also holds a Public Health Series certification from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
