Sr. Test Engineer

Responsibilities include Improve Security Testing Practices Across Provider and Payer Products; Create Standards for Best Practices throughout QA Support; Establishes Expectations for QA Effort Estimates for Project Tickets; Create UAT Workbooks to help provide guidance to clients throughout testing; Facilitate client meetings to review QA Collateral; Create and Manage Test Case Repositories within JIRA; Responsible for Creating Reusable Automation Test Suites; Lead the Creation of Test Automation Tools within QA Support; Actively participate in Sprint Planning sessions with Project Teams; Provide mentorship to offshore QA resources and report on productivity; Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other QA Analysts; Formulate and define project scope and objectives based on both requirements documents and a thorough understanding of the product and software development lifecycle; Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations; Executes System Integration Testing and communicates the results for approval; Analyzes, reports, and monitors issues and defects found during the testing execution; Conduct Regression Tests to ensure that any changes to the system have not effected existing functionality; Conducts regression analysis and addresses the gaps; Supports the business customers in the creation and execution of the business acceptance test plan, test scripts / cases data, and results; Participate in interview and hiring decisions for the QA Support Department; Responsible for Onboarding and Mentorship for New QA Engineers; and Help Manage Repository for QA Support Best Practices Documentation.

Requires Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Healthcare or a related field plus 5 years of experience. In the alternative, Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Healthcare or a related field plus 2 years of experience. Requires any amount of experience in software engineering; test design; software development lifecycle; analytical experience. 100% telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week.
