Geethu S S

Geethu S S is a skilled research associate currently employed at MEDGENOME since May 2022, focusing on sample preparation for next-generation sequencing and participation in CAP accreditation activities. Previously, Geethu served as an Executive in Molecular Genetics at LifeCell International Pvt. Ltd from February 2020 to September 2022, gaining extensive experience in high-throughput HLA typing using next seq-550 technology. Prior to that, a quality control trainee role at Biosystems S.A. provided hands-on technical experience in quality checks for blood parameter analyzers. Geethu's academic background includes an MSc in Biotechnology from SRM University and a BSc in Biotechnology from St. Mary’s College for Women. Additionally, experience as a dissertation trainee at CSIR - NIST Trivandrum involved working on a DBT-funded project related to nano cellulose production.
