Monika Dass

Monika Dass is a Bioinformatics Analyst specializing in Bioinformatics R&D at MEDGENOME since October 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) in Mohali, focusing on genomic rearrangements in various cancer types from April 2018 to May 2019, and another position as a Research Assistant at the Department of Biochemistry, IISc, Bangalore, where the emphasis was on cancer drug design and in silico studies from July 2015 to October 2016. Monika's early work included a Master's Research Project at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), where the focus was on analyzing fusion transcripts and differentially expressed genes in multiple myeloma from November 2014 to April 2015. Monika holds an MSc in Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology from IBAB and a Bachelor's degree in Botany from Hansraj College.
