Julie Curtis

Julie Curtis has a diverse work experience history. Julie started their career in 1993 as a Fine Jewelry & Watch Salesperson at Marshall Fields and later worked as a Teacher in Palatine School District #15 and Glencoe Central School. Julie then transitioned to the role of News in Education Sales Rep at Chicago Tribune Media Group. Julie continued their teaching career at Wheaton Warrenville South High School and Aurora East School District 131, where they served as an Academy Teacher and Academic and Behavior Interventionist respectively. In 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at CloseBy/American Marketing & Publishing, LLC. Afterwards, Julie joined Cengage as a Learning Consultant and worked there until 2016. Currently, they are the Partner & Director of Operations at Medi-Weightloss®.

Julie Curtis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Illinois State University between 1990 and 1993. Subsequently, between 1995 and 2007, they attended Loyola University Chicago to study School Psychology, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree. Their education journey also included studying pre-med at the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1990.
