Igor Braga

Igor Braga is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning and data science, currently contributing to an upcoming AI company since September 2024 and serving as a Research and Development Advisor at Media Hero since August 2023. Previously, Igor held multiple roles at Big Data from June 2014 to December 2023, including Partner and Head of Product. Igor's earlier experience includes positions as a Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist. Additionally, Igor completed a Research Internship and served as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at NEC Laboratories America, Inc., collaborating with Dr. Vladimir Vapnik, a pioneer in the field. Igor holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Machine Learning and a Master's degree in the same field from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Brasília and a Technical degree in Computer Science from Instituto Federal de Goiás.
