Sonia Chandra has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, program management, and creative operations. Sonia currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Media.Monks, starting in January 2023. Before that, they worked at Firewood as the Vice President of Global Head of Program Management and the Senior Director of Global Head of Program Management. Sonia Chandra holds a M.A. in Media Studies from The New School. Sonia also has a B.A. in Business and Mass Communications from the University of Florida. Additional education includes a Continuing Education program in Film and Music Video Production from the School of Visual Arts and a Study Abroad program at John Cabot University focusing on Italian language, International Business, and Photography. Sonia has also obtained certifications in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, Fighting Gender Bias at Work, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn. In 2023, they will complete an Executive Education program in the S4 Women's Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
