Alexis Tobias

Alexis Tobias is the current GM of On the Dot at Media24. Prior to this, they held the position of Commercial Manager Retail at On the Dot from November 2012 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing the sales strategies and tactical plans per retail group, using sales analysis, market segmentation, industry trends, competitor analysis and shopper insight data. Alexis also oversaw the negotiation of national trading terms across all major retail groups including key business drivers such as merchandising initiatives, promotional plans, fixture investment and growth hurdle initiatives to the benefit of On the Dot.

Alexis Tobias has an Executive Development Programme in Business Leadership from Stellenbosch Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Marketing Management from IMM GSM.

Alexis Tobias reports to Ishmet Davidson, CEO. They are on a team with Minette Ferreira - GM, Lifestyle & News, Tobie Vermeulen - CIO, and Tasmia Ismail - GM, National Advertising Sales.
