Oscar Haffmans

Oscar Haffmans has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Oscar currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Media24 (Pty) Ltd since April 2023. Prior to this role, Oscar worked at Prosus Group as the Head of Risk & Audit for growth segments, where they focused on managing risks in various industries such as classifieds, food delivery, fintech, and edtech. Oscar also held the position of Senior Manager Internal Audit & Risk at Prosus Group from September 2019 to April 2021. Before joining Prosus Group, Oscar worked at Naspers Limited as a Senior Manager in Internal Audit and Risk from January 2017 to March 2021. Oscar started their career at Deloitte, where they served as a Manager in Risk Advisory from October 2015 to December 2016. Prior to that, they held various positions at Deloitte Risk Services, including Junior Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant from September 2010 to September 2015. Oscar's early career included roles at Kroymans Car Rental Holland B.V., where they worked in fleet management and internal audits as an employee and intern.

Oscar Haffmans has a diverse education history. Oscar began their academic journey in 2002 at IVA Driebergen, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, completing it in 2006.

In 2006, they enrolled in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Administration. Oscar successfully completed this program in 2009.
