Jens Cardinaels is an experienced journalist with a strong background in editorial positions. Since June 2014, Jens has been working at Mediafin as a journalist for De Tijd, specifically within the Ondernemen section, following a previous internship in the same department. Jens also undertook a temporary role as a redacteur at Het Financieele Dagblad in April 2024. Prior to this, Jens served as editor-in-chief and international editor at Veto, an independent student weekly in Leuven, where responsibilities included coordinating news coverage and foreign affairs. Additional experience includes writing for VRT's news site during the 2014 election campaign and an internship at Roularta Media Group. Jens holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Taal- en Letterkunde from KU Leuven and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Nottingham.
