Brad Simcox

Brad Simcox has extensive work experience in the media and television industry. Brad began their career as a Chief Engineer at KZTV/KSIX, where they were responsible for maintaining two transmitter sites and purchasing new equipment. Brad then moved on to work as a Sales Application Engineer at Panasonic, where they coordinated the integration and training of Panasonic products with station engineers and managed equipment trade shows. Brad also worked at CNN as a Field Engineer, establishing and maintaining audio/video systems for international and domestic news locations. Brad later worked as a System Engineer at Total Video Houston, where they designed and installed a new master control room and coordinated the licensing of Total Video as a broadcasting facility. Brad also held positions at Tandberg Television and Ericsson Television Inc as a Systems Engineer, where they built compression/IP systems for demos and clients and provided integration and technical support for TV stations and cable companies. Most recently, Brad worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at MediaKind, where they built Linux software and hardware-based compression systems and provided onsite integration for demos and sales support in the Americas.
