Franco Capitina has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Franco began their career at CAE in 1989 as a Software Engineer. Franco then worked at Paramax Systems Canada as a Software Development Engineer from 1992 to 1993. After that, they joined CAE again, this time as a Project Manager from 1993 to 1996. In the same year, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Team Leader and Software Design Engineer. From 1996 to 1999, they worked at Ericsson as a Designer and Project Leader. In 2019, Capitina joined MediaKind as the Head of MMP Product Line. Franco later took on the role of Head of Global Operations and Support from 2021 to 2022, managing a team of 200 Support Engineers and 6 Engineering Managers. Franco is currently serving as the Head of Operations at MediaKind. Capitina seeks to enhance support services through the implementation of self-healing tools and scripts, aiming to develop AI capabilities.

Franco Capitina's education history begins in 1983 when they enrolled at Champlain Regional College. Franco pursued a DEC in Pure and Applied Sciences, specializing in Sciences, and graduated in 1985. Following this, from 1985 to 1989, Franco attended Concordia University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.

In 2005, Franco attended the Institute of Project Management for a brief period, focusing on Project Management. During this time, they obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
