Mediaocean is looking for Data Modelling Developers at Pune location, who will have good hands on experience in SQL, workings of relational databases such as Oracle. She/He should have worked on ETL tools like Talend or BO. He/ She  should have overall 6 to 9 years of experience and 5+ years of experience on ETL tools.

What You Will Do

• Incumbent will be responsible for complete software lifecycle involvement from initial specification through release and implementation
• Hands-on experience, in data modeling, including experience with logical and physical data modeling
• Very good command over SQL and workings of databases such as Oracle 11g,  PostgreSQL, Snowflake
• Experience on Java based development would be an advantage
• Experience working on true data warehouse environment
• Interaction with other architects and team leads, Quality Assurance, DBA, UNIX Administrators
• Candidate will be working on data modeling, including experience with logical and physical data modeling.
• Creating and maintaining data definitions, data models, query optimization and OLAP tools is required
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Should have experience working with onsite-offshore work model.
• Candidate will be responsible for managing other developers in terms of unblocking them from any technical challenges.
• Candidate will take part in technical discussion with teams in US/UK/Australia
• Candidate will be a part of the agile development process.

Who You Are

• Masters Degree (M Sc, MCA, ME) or an Engineering degree from a reputed institute (BE, BTech)
• Should come from a development background, having worked as a developer for 4+ years with hands on experience on ETL tools (Talend, BO) & Oracle
• Good communication skills.
• Very good command over SQL and workings of relational databases such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with Unix shell scripting.
• Interactive applications with high visibility within customer organizations
• Candidates must not have more than 8 Years of experience in ETL development. It can be  between 5 and 7 years
• Advertising and/or financial programming background a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• 4+ years of hands on experience on ETL tools (preferably Talend/ Snowflake )
• Real time ETL / data streaming would be plus
• Oracle(SQL & PL/SQL programming)
• Datawarehouse design
• UNIX shell scripting (good to have)
• Experience with any of the BI/Reporting tool is good to have
• Multi-tier Architecture
