Ben Wilks

Ben Wilks has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field, beginning in 2019 with an Intern position at Prellis Biologics, Inc. Ben then moved on to a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Brown University in 2020. Also in 2020, Ben held Research Fellow roles at both Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Their current position is Scientist II at Mediar Therapeutics, which they began in 2022.

Ben Wilks received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University between 2011 and 2015. Ben then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at Brown University, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Conflict Resolution & Mediation, Reflective Teaching, and Teaching Consultant Program from the Brown University Ombuds Office and the Sheridan Center at Brown University.
