Alexander Kann

Alexander Kann has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries. Alexander began their career in 2000 as a Web Co-ordinator at Princess Production. Alexander then worked as a Production Assistant at Oxford University Press in 2002. Later that year, they became a Content Co-ordinator at Iskra Television, where they stayed until 2003. In 2004, they joined the BBC as a Technical Author and later worked as a Project Co-ordinator, Drama Series Analyst, Development Executive, and Senior Editorial Development Manager. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at BBC Worldwide as an Editorial Lead for global iPlayer and SeeSaw. In 2012, they became the General Manager and Editor at Community Channel, and in 2014, they joined Media Trust as the Director of Community Channel & Audiences. Currently, they are the Chief Executive of Together TV.

Alexander Kann attended the University of Oxford from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an M.A. (Hons) degree in English Literature and Language. In 2001, they briefly studied at the University of Southern California and earned an M.F.A. degree in Film Production. From 2002 to 2004, Kann pursued further education at Birkbeck, University of London, specializing in the History of Film, Television, and Visual Media, earning an M.A. degree.
