Siva Venkataraman

Siva Venkataraman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Most recently, in 2021, they served as the Head of Finance and Legal at MediBuddy. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they were the Head of Finance at RentoMojo, where they played a crucial role in raising funds and managing financial operations.

From 2015 to 2018, Siva held the position of CFO & Board Member at several companies including Arbor Ventures (UK), ZenParent, GPS Renewables, and i2India. During this time, they gained extensive experience in financial management and strategic decision-making.

In 2014, Siva worked at Flipkart in the Business Finance department, where they contributed to significant growth and improved profitability of various categories.

Before that, they were a part of the Global Solutions Group at WNS Global Services from 2013 to 2014.

Beginning their career in 2005, Siva co-founded and served as Vice President - Finance & Operations at KomBench Financial until 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Deputy Manager in Research at Karvy Comtrade from 2004 to 2005.

Siva Venkataraman has an extensive education history in the field of finance and management. In 1999, they began their academic journey at Bharathidasan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Commerce and Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2002, they joined ICFAI Business School, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance, specializing in the same field.

In 2006, Siva Venkataraman furthered their education by enrolling in the CFA Institute, where they pursued a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. This program emphasized Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, allowing him to enhance their skills in these areas. Siva successfully completed the program in 2008.

Seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise within the finance industry, Siva Venkataraman joined the Indian School of Business in 2012. During their time at this institution, they completed the Post-Graduate Programme in Management, concentrating on Strategy and Finance. This program aided him in developing a comprehensive understanding of strategy formulation and implementation, as well as financial management principles.

Continuing their commitment to continuous professional growth, Siva Venkataraman is currently pursuing an ACCA qualification in IFRS accounting. This program, commenced in 2020, enables him to further enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of accounting, specifically focusing on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
