Marissa Kading

Marissa Kading has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Marissa started their career as a Government Pharmacy Consulting Analyst at Mercer in 2014, where they set reimbursement rates for Medicaid pharmacy clients and conducted market research on drug pricing. Marissa was later promoted to Senior Government Pharmacy Consulting Analyst and then to Pharmacy Consultant, Project Manager. In these roles, they managed client programs and established pricing models for cost-effective Medicaid pharmacy reimbursement options.

In 2018, Marissa shifted to the role of Informatics Consultant at Mercer, where they coordinated with teams and managed client projects while developing new coding for reporting and analysis systems.

In 2019, Marissa joined Medica as a Senior Healthcare Analyst, working on affordability projects and contributing to cost-reduction programs. Marissa then progressed to the role of Lead Healthcare Analyst, where they managed multiple simultaneous projects and coordinated with a team of analysts.

Most recently, in 2022, Marissa worked as a Consultant (sub-contractor) at Mercer before returning to Medica in 2023 as the Lead Pharmacy Analytics Analyst.

Marissa Kading received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Marissa attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
