Amir A. Ghaferi

Amir A. Ghaferi, MD, MSc, MBA, currently serves as President & CEO of the Physician Enterprise at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and as Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where integration of clinical management and education is prioritized. Additionally, Amir holds multiple leadership positions at Froedtert Health, including President of Community Physicians and Chief Executive Officer of Medical College Physicians. Previously, Amir was a Professor of Surgery with Tenure at the University of Michigan Medical School, where numerous advancements in surgical practice were achieved. Amir's professional journey also includes key roles in bariatric surgery leadership and academic positions focused on management and organizational behavior. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s Degree in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan, and an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
