Janice R. Hand

Janice R. Hand has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare and criminal justice fields. Janice R. began their career as a Criminal Justice Planner and later became a Regional Director for the SE WI Criminal Justice Planning Council at the Wisconsin Council on Criminal Justice. In 1981, they became the Executive Director at the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation, where they stayed until 1995. During this time, they worked as a Program Director at the Medical College of Wisconsin, overseeing projects related to HIV care and support. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at the AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth & Families. In 2008, Janice became the Volunteer Coordinator at Racine Area Labor Festivals, Inc. (RALFI) until 2012. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong dedication to serving marginalized communities and advocating for their needs.

Janice R. Hand has a diverse education history that includes an MBA in Business Administration from Marquette University (1981-1983), a BA in Business Administration from Carthage College (1976-1980), and an AAS in Secretarial Science from Gateway Technical College (1974-1976). Janice R. also attended Mount Mary University in 1970-1971 for French studies. In their earlier years, Janice graduated from J.I. Case High School with an Honors Diploma in 1970 and attended Starbuck Junior High School from 1964 to 1967. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) certification in 1976.
