Peter Mason

Peter Mason, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the field of cardiology. Peter began their career as a Physician at the Wisconsin Heart & Vascular Institute in 2006 and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Physician at the University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine. In 2016, they joined the Medical College of Wisconsin where they held multiple roles including Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, and Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. In 2018, they joined Froedtert Hospital as the Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory. Peter continues to hold these positions and is actively involved in the field of cardiology.

Peter Mason, MD, MPH has a strong educational background. Peter completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Pschobiology at Hamilton College in the years 1988-1992. Peter then went on to obtain their High School Diploma from Amherst Regional High School from 1984-1988. Peter pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at UMass Chan Medical School from 1993-1997. Following that, they completed their residency in Internal Medicine at Yale Department of Internal Medicine from 1997-2000. During this time, they also did a Research Fellowship in Cardiovascular Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Brigham&Women's Hospital from 2000-2001. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2000-2001. Later, Peter pursued fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at Boston University School of Medicine from 2001-2005, and in Vascular Medicine and Peripheral Vascular Intervention at Brigham&Women's Hospital from 2005-2006.
