Ty Dunn

Ty Dunn currently serves as a Transplant Surgeon and Surgical Director for Kidney and Pancreas Transplant at the Medical College of Wisconsin and as the Surgical Director for Kidney Transplantation at Children's Wisconsin, both positions held since August 2023. Prior to these roles, Ty Dunn was a Transplant Surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania from October 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Surgical Director for Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation. From August 2006 to September 2018, Ty Dunn worked at the University of Minnesota, holding several leadership roles including Director of the Living Donor Kidney Program and Director of Kidney Paired Exchange Program (PEP!). Ty Dunn's early experience includes a position as a Transplant Surgeon at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from April 2005 to July 2006. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by a fellowship in Transplantation & Immunology at the University of Minnesota, an MS in Surgical Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a BA in Biology and Classics from Hamline University.
