Warren D. Pierson

Warren has 36 years of investment experience managing various types of fixed income portfolios. His responsibilities include developing and implementing investment strategy with particular emphasis on yield curve analysis and research in the U.S. Treasury, U.S. government agency and municipal sectors. Prior to joining Baird Advisors, Warren was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Firstar Investment Research & Management Company where he played a lead role in the management of taxable and tax-exempt portfolios.

Warren obtained his undergraduate degree from Lawrence University. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1990. Warren is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Milwaukee (past President). He is a cabinet member of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and is currently on the boards of the Milwaukee Rescue Mission (past Board President), the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Neuroscience Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and the Kern Family Foundation. Warren has also served as Board President of the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.
