Naman Thakrar

Naman Thakrar is an Emergency Medical Technician at MedEx Ambulance Service Inc. since August 2022, providing emergency and non-emergency care in the Chicagoland area, proficient in basic life support measures. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the College of Applied Health Sciences at Illinois from February 2020 to May 2022, conducting research on the molecular mechanisms of acute exercise's effect on cognition and presenting findings at the UIUC Research Symposium. Additionally, Naman worked as a Video Manager at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2019 to May 2022, collaborating with fellow student film managers to produce evaluative footage for coaches and professional teams. Naman holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in May 2022, and graduated from Neuqua Valley High School in May 2018.
