Sue Walton

Sue Walton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and management. Currently, Sue serves as the Corporate Communications Manager at Medical Mutual, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Sue spent over six years at Crain's Cleveland Business, first as Assistant Managing Editor, managing a team of reporters, and then as Associate Editor for Akron, where significant readership growth was achieved through the Akron Daily digital newsletter. Earlier career highlights include serving as Editor-in-Chief at ScripType Publishing, Copy Editor and Page Designer at The Plain Dealer, and various editorial roles at Crain Communications and the Lorain Morning Journal. Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University, completed in 1993.
