Joe Ruscito has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Joe currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Technology at the Medical University of South Carolina's Zucker Institute for Innovation Commercialization (ZIIC), where they lead the medical device vertical. Prior to this role, they worked as the Lead ZI Engineer at ZIIC, collaborating with doctors and medical professionals to develop new technologies using 3D printing. Joe has also worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Peregrine Engineering, specializing in bringing innovative ideas from concept to production. Additionally, they have experience in distribution sales management at companies like Distil Union and WeatherFlow Inc., where they developed and maintained sales channels and coordinated wholesale ordering and shipments. Joe also has entrepreneurial experience as the Co-Founder and Business Owner of Beat Copter Aerial LLC, where they designed and built aerial platforms for low-level aerial photography and video. Joe started their career at Pure Action Sports LLC, where they served as a Team Rider and helped develop new products. Lastly, Joe worked at DEVAR INC as a Technician and Social Media Consultant, providing troubleshooting and advising on marketing and social media strategy.

Joe Ruscito completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011, and later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A) with a focus on Finance from the College of Charleston in 2012 and 2013.
