Kathleen Ellis

Kathleen Ellis has over 20 years of work experience in communications and healthcare. Kathleen started their career as an Account Executive at Weber Shandwick in 1996 and then moved to GolinHarris Communications, where they worked as an Account Executive until 1999. From 1999 to 2006, they served as the Director of Communications at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In 2006, Kathleen joined the Medical University of South Carolina as the Director of National Communications and later became the Director of Operations for the Center for Global Health. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director for the Center for Global Health at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Kathleen Ellis attended the University of Notre Dame from 1991 to 1995, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English.
