Aaron Scott

Aaron Scott is a bioinformatician currently employed at Medicinska fakulteten, Lunds universitet since January 2025. Aaron has substantial experience in the field of bioinformatics, having previously worked as a doctoral student at Lund University in the Medical Faculty, focusing on integrative medical proteomics. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Immunovia AB, contributing to software development and bioinformatic workflows, as well as algorithm and method development for microarray technology and cloud computing solutions. Earlier positions included software engineering and data analysis at MasTec Network Solutions and WesTower Communications, along with research assistance at the University of California, Davis, specializing in surface spectroscopy. Aaron holds a PhD in Computational Proteomics from Lund University, a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
