Brett Meyer

Brett Meyer is a Senior Data Scientist at Medidata Solutions since August 2023, specializing in Biomarker Analysis with a focus on utilizing wearable sensors to enhance clinical trials. Previously, Brett served as an Industry Funded Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Vermont from August 2017 to August 2023, where significant research contributions included the development of digital biomarkers for postural sway and gait analysis, consultation on clinical trial study design, and evaluation of the Medidata Sensor Cloud. With a strong foundation in data science, Brett earned a PhD in Complex Systems and Data Science from the University of Vermont in August 2023, following a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Brett holds experience in mentoring students and conducting research focused on fall risk identification in individuals with neurological conditions.
