Jonathan Toft

Jonathan Toft has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jonathan started their career as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Caremark Corporation in 2001 and worked there until 2006. Jonathan then joined Prescription Solutions as a Managed Care Pharmacy Resident from 2006 to 2007, where they gained experience in various areas including Clinical Program Development and Drug Information.

In 2007, Toft joined MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. and held multiple roles over the years. Jonathan started as a Clinical Specialist and later served as a Drug Information Pharmacist, where they were responsible for maintaining clinical content and providing support for Medicare Part D formularies. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Clinical Program Manager, focusing on optimizing drug therapy for plan sponsors and providing strategic recommendations.

Toft's most recent role at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. (since October 2019) is Principal, Formulary and Rebate Optimization. In this position, they utilize their expertise to optimize the clinical quality and cost-effectiveness of drug therapy for plan sponsors while also playing a role in the development and analysis of formularies. Throughout their career, Toft has demonstrated their clinical knowledge and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.

Jonathan Toft earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Rhode Island between 2000 and 2006. Jonathan then obtained the title of Registered Pharmacist from the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Department of Health in August 2006. In January 2007, they also became a Registered Pharmacist certified by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Later, between 2009 and 2011, Jonathan pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Health Services Administration at San Diego State University.
