Erica Sanna

Erica Sanna, CIA, has a diverse work experience in the fields of internal audit, external audit, and business control. Erica started their career as an Assistant Auditor at KPMG Italy in 2011 before transitioning to Ernst & Young as a Tax Consultant. In 2012, they worked as a Business Controller at Mondelēz International. Erica then joined BDO Italia as an Auditor, where they gained experience in financial services and industry audits. Erica further advanced their career at PwC Italy as a Senior Auditor, specializing in life and general insurance. Currently, Erica holds the position of Head of Internal Audit at Mediolanum Irish Operations, where they oversee internal audit activities for Mediolanum International Life dac. Erica'sresponsibilities have encompassed financial statement audits, compliance assessments, risk management, and team coordination. Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated a strong understanding of audit methodologies, regulations, and business processes.

Erica Sanna, CIA, obtained a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration and Law from Università Bocconi, graduating in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Torino, specializing in Business Administration and Law, completing their studies in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Erica Sanna has obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in October 2021.
