Jeremy Humphries has extensive experience in the financial industry, with their most recent position as the Head of Quantitative Investments at Mediolanum Irish Operations. Prior to that, they worked at Davy Global Fund Management as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager, where they designed and developed quantitative models and systems for various investment strategies. Jeremy also held roles at Schroders as a Quantitative Research & Portfolio Manager, managing portfolios for a global client base, and at Pioneer Investments as a Quantitative Equity Analyst, focusing on global equities and collaborating on research projects. Jeremy began their career as an intern at Murex.
Jeremy Humphries has a diverse education history. Jeremy obtained a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification from the CAIA Association in November 2020.
In terms of formal education, Jeremy earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Quantitative Finance from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Arts and Engineering (B.A.I.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Jeremy has also pursued various additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Jeremy completed courses on "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization, and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" through Coursera in July 2018 and May 2018, respectively. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Introduction to Natural Language Processing," "Algorithmic Thinking," and "Machine Learning" from Coursera Course Certificates between October 2015 and December 2015. Lastly, they became a CAIA Charterholder in November 2020, further demonstrating their commitment to professional development in the field of alternative investments.
