Katja Kunnas

Katja Kunnas has over 20 years of work experience, holding various roles in procurement and sourcing. katja started their career at Nokia, where they worked as a Learning Solutions Coordinator and later became a Senior Sourcing Manager in the Travel category. At Bayer, they worked as a Sourcing Manager for Veterinary API's and Minerals, managing spending and ensuring supply for critical materials. katja then moved on to Johnson Controls, where they held the position of Senior Procurement Manager for Indirect Categories, leading a team and implementing procurement strategies. Most recently, they joined Mediq as a Sourcing Director for DACH.

Katja Kunnas completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Commercial College Finland from 1989 to 1991. katja then pursued an Associate's Degree in Travel business in Finland and abroad, history, marketing, travel services, hotel/congress service at Commercial College Finland from 1993 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained a Commercial Language Assistant degree in International Business, German, and English language from South Devon College (Cambridge University) between 1996 and 1998. katja also acquired various certifications in advanced English, German/English commercial correspondence, basic foreign languages (Spanish), German for industry and commerce (intermediate level), and English for commerce (second level). These certifications were obtained from institutions such as the University of Cambridge, London Chamber of Commerce, NCFE, the International Certificate Conference, and the Goethe Institut.
