Tara Wabbersen

Tara Wabbersen has extensive work experience in the field of scientific and medical writing, with a focus on medical communications. Tara has worked for Meditech Media since 2016, starting as a Medical Writer and progressing to roles such as Senior Medical Writer, Lead Medical Writer, Associate Scientific Director, and currently holds the position of Scientific Director. Prior to their work at Meditech Media, Tara worked at Emory University, where they served as a Graduate Student for almost 9 years and also held positions as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant.

Tara Wabbersen obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rollins College in the years 2003 to 2007. Tara then continued their education at Emory University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry, Cell, and Developmental Biology from 2007 to 2013. In addition to their academic achievements, Tara also obtained a certification in CMPP (Certified Medical Publication Professional) from ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in April 2018.
