Yasmine Defouni

Yasmine Defouni has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Yasmine started their career as the Co-Founder and Manager of the Early Intervention Unit at The Egyptian Autistic Society in 1999. Yasmine successfully established the Early Intervention Program Unit and managed its operations. Yasmine also represented the society at a conference on Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Following this, Yasmine joined OpenCraft in 2004 as an Operations role. Yasmine played a key role in planning, managing, and coordinating the company's operational and systems infrastructure.

In 2006, Yasmine became a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Lake College of Homeopathy. Yasmine held this position until 2011, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the field.

In 2013, Yasmine joined Healthytude as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Yasmine designed clean eating programs, created tailored meal plans, and revamped oriental recipes to promote healthier lifestyles.

Most recently, in 2022, Yasmine joined Medmark Egypt as the Health and Wellness Director. Yasmine'sresponsibilities include designing and implementing company health and wellness initiatives, collaborating with partners, and conducting workshops for employees and clients.

Yasmine Defouni's education history includes a range of courses and certifications in fields such as Gut Health, Cancer Coaching, Functional Nutrition, Health Coaching, Homeopathy, Special Education, and Psychology.

In 1992, Yasmine obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from The American University in Cairo. Yasmine then went on to pursue a Master's in Education degree at the University of Birmingham from 1999 to 2004, specializing in Special Education.

Yasmine's interest in holistic approaches to health led their to complete the Health Coach Training Program at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in May 2013. In the same year, they obtained a degree as a Certified Holistic Health Coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

In 2006, Yasmine attended The Lakeland College of Homeopathy in the UK, where they obtained the International Member of the Lakeland College (I.M.L.C.) Certificate of Practice in Homeopathy in March 2009.

Between 2012 and 2013, Yasmine pursued a Functional Nutrition Certification in Clinical Nutrition and Functional Medicine Practitioner by Josh Gitalis.

In 2019, Yasmine expanded their knowledge by enrolling in the Gut Health Course at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and also obtained Cancer Coaching training from the Ottawa Cancer Foundation in Ottawa, Canada.
