Steven Hess

Steven Hess has 40 years of experience in the pharmacy industry. Steven was Executive Vice President of Pharmacy operations and technology at Apotheco Pharmacy. At Apotheco he opened 9 pharmacies within 2 years growing it to a total of 20 Pharmacies. He was also responsible for implementing a new pharmacy system.

Prior to Apotheco he was at Diplomat specialty pharmacy as SVP of procurement and spent 10 years at Catamaran now Optum as VP of pharmacy operations overseeing mail-order pharmacy, procurement, and HBS a software company that had 1400 pharmacies on their software system. Steven Hess is the “Get it Done Guy” with a passion for the pharmacy industry. As an Executive Vice President with a keen understanding of people, processes, and profit, Steven has a reputation for turning around multi-million businesses and identifying added revenue streams. Steven is a licensed pharmacist in Illinois and attended the Medical University of South Carolina.
