Mark Quinn

Mark Quinn has over 20 years of experience in the field of IT and has worked for various companies. Mark'smost recent position was as a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer at MedPro Group, beginning in February 2022. In this role, they focused on improving system uptime and stability, enhancing test and build processes, designing automated release channels, and automating the installation and upkeep of build tools. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, Mark worked as a Cloud Engineer / Network Administrator at Wellfleet, where they maximized uptime across multiple sites through system administration and configuration of the network, servers, VPN, and firewalls. Mark also performed vulnerability remediation and supported the VMWare infrastructure. From 2011 to 2020, Mark served as a Senior Systems Administrator at ISO New England, where they maintained over 600 windows servers and implemented deployment technologies that significantly reduced deployment time. Additionally, they designed scripts for compliance, reducing the workload. Before that, from 2002 to 2011, Mark worked at MassMutual Financial Group, initially as a Senior Network Administrator and later as a Windows Server Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for evaluating and specifying hardware requirements, providing production support for the Windows/VMWare infrastructure, and designing and supporting servers using VMWare and HP hardware.

Mark Quinn has a diverse education history. In 1992-1993, they attended Porter and Chester University where they obtained a certificate in Electronics. Following that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University of Phoenix and earned an Associate's degree in Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained various certifications, primarily focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Some of these certifications include AWS Certified Database - Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, and more. Mark has also obtained certifications from other institutions such as VMware and Cisco, including VCA-Data Center Virtualization and Cisco CCENT certifications.
