Associate Clinical Operations Engineer at MedRhythms

Shanna Scribner began their career in 2021 as an Engineer Intern at MedRhythms, Inc. In 2020, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and the Founder and President of the American Sign Language Club at the University of Maine. In their role as President, they led club members to be comfortable signing in ASL to deaf people who know the language while broadening their views of the world by teaching them about the history and community around Deaf culture. In 2022, they joined MedRhythms, Inc. again as an Associate Clinical Operations Engineer. In this role, they are helping MedRhythms use sensors, music, and software to build evidence-based, neurologic interventions to measure and improve walking.

Shanna Scribner is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maine, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Shanna previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maine in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in General RCR from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in April 2021, Introduction to Biosafety from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in December 2020, and OSHA Personal Protective Equipment Training from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in December 2020.
