Sascha Novotny

Sascha Novotny has a diverse work experience in finance and controlling roles. Sascha is currently the Head of Finance, IT, and Legal at MedSkin Solutions Dr. Suwelack AG since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Oiltanking as the Director Group Controlling from March 2022 to August 2022 and as the Team Lead Controlling & Reporting from December 2017 to February 2022. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Commercial Finance Manager at Merlin Entertainments plc and also served as the Financial Controller Rest of Europe on an interim basis from January 2017 to May 2017. Sascha has also held positions at Muehlhan Group as the Group Financial Controller from January 2007 to June 2010 and at Melitta Beratungs- und Verwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG as the Corporate Financial Controller (Corporate Division Business & Company Development) from April 2005 to December 2006.

Sascha Novotny attended the University of Applied Sciences Trier from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Diplom Betriebswirt. From 2004 to 2005, they also studied Economics at the University of Gothenburg. In terms of additional certifications, Sascha obtained the Certified Change Practitioner (Prosci®) certification from Prosci in October 2021. They also obtained the Certificate in International Accounting (CINA®) from Akademie für Internationale Rechnungslegung Prof. Dr. Leibfried GmbH in December 2011. Recently, they acquired several certifications from Jedox in 2023, including Jedox 251 Database Specialist, Jedox 210 Jedox Specialist, and Jedox 211 Report Specialist.
