Kostas Tsambourlianos

Kostas Tsambourlianos has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Kostas started their career in 1993 at Shoppers Drug Mart as an Operations Coordinator, where they were responsible for retail operations and played a key role in implementing various initiatives. Kostas then moved on to work as the General Manager and Director of Operations at Paiemaitre Ltee, before joining Lafarge as the Group Project Manager, where they successfully managed a global operation and led the development of administrative technology solutions.

In 2009, Kostas joined IBM as a Project Executive, where they directed strategic planning and project execution for Fortune 500 clients. Kostas later transitioned to MedSleep in 2010, starting as the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and eventually becoming the Chief Executive Officer. During their tenure at MedSleep, they oversaw the development of strategic planning, P&L management, and governance, leading to significant revenue growth and expansion through mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to their corporate roles, Kostas also has experience in academia. Kostas has held various roles at the Schulich School of Business - York University, including Director of the York Consulting Group and Chair of the MBA Program's Strategy Field Studies committee.

Kostas Tsambourlianos has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business from York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Kostas also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Business from both Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management (2007-2008) and Schulich School of Business at York University (2007-2008). Additionally, Tsambourlianos completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Villanova University in 2004-2005. Kostas further enhanced their education with an Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals program from Cornell University in 2017-2018. In 2020, Tsambourlianos obtained a certification in a Riipen Project from Riipen.
