Roxann Mejia

Roxann Mejia, CPCS, CPMSM, is a seasoned credentialing professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Senior Credentialing Analyst at MedStar Health since March 2020, Roxann previously worked as a Credentialing Coordinator at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital from January 2008 to March 2020, where responsibilities included managing compliance with regulatory and accrediting organizations and overseeing the credentialing process. Earlier in her career, Roxann held the position of Medical Staff Secretary, focusing on administrative support and communication within the medical staff department. Additionally, Roxann worked as a Medical Billing Specialist at Associated Health Management Alliance from April 1988 to April 2001, where data entry and billing for patients and insurance companies were key tasks. Roxann is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, expected to complete in December 2025.
