Heather DeLeonardis

Venture Partner at MedStartr

Heather DeLeonardis is a venture partner at MedStartr Ventures. Heather has over three years of experience in the industry, during which they have been responsible for assessing new investment opportunities, vetting the practical feasibility and market opportunity of new technologies, and running startup pitch competitions.

Prior to their current role, Heather was the managing director at CapRok Capital, where they provided sales coverage to institutional client trading desks for corporate bond trades. Heather also developed a business plan for structured notes.

Before that, Heather was the head of U.S. structured products at TD Securities Limited, where they started the structured note CD business and built out the infrastructure, including hiring personnel and establishing a hedging platform with the internal options desk. Heather also created a MTN Fixed Income Shelf for TD Securities to issue retail products through an established regional dealer network.

Heather DeLeonardis graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics in 1992. Her focus was in finance.
