Abigail Laymon Stickford

Abigail Laymon Stickford, PhD, is a seasoned professional in clinical evaluation and medical writing, currently serving as a Senior Clinical Evaluation Medical Writer at Medtronic since December 2021, specializing in clinical evidence and operations for coronary and renal denervation. Previously, Abigail was an Assistant Professor at Appalachian State University from August 2015 to December 2021, where recommendations for tenure were made by the departmental committee and College dean. Other roles include freelance writing and editing focused on science and medicine through Upwork, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Women's Heart Health Laboratory, and various teaching positions at Indiana University Bloomington and other institutions.
