Ileana Gonzalez

Ileana Gonzalez is a Principal Scientist at Medtronic since October 2021, following a role as an Analytical Development Data Specialist at Romark, L.C. from August 2020 to September 2021. Previously, Ileana served as an Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Universidad Ana G. Méndez, where responsibilities included teaching laboratory courses for chemistry majors and developing a new course in Electrochemistry. Early career experience includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Puerto Rico, where coordination of a summer camp for high school students and fundamental research on fuel cell materials at NASA Glenn Research Center were key accomplishments. Ileana earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and a BS in Chemistry from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
